BEHIND THE NAME

Waka, named after the founder's younger brother, represents a bond built through growing up together and the values that shaped them.

Derived from the Māori word Waka, meaning a traditional canoe, it symbolises more than a vessel; it represents a journey, purpose, connection, and the people who travel alongside you.

Founded by a Samoan/Māori raised between Manurewa, South Auckland, and Wynnum, Brisbane, Waka is built on the values of humble beginnings and being true to self.
